Depending on how you use the App (Phase 1 Document Utility or Phase 2 Matching Gallery), we may collect different types of information:

A. Personal Data Provided Voluntarily by You

To create a marriage bio-data or a matching profile, you may choose to enter highly personal and culturally relevant details:

  • Personal Identification: Full name, age, gender, height, weight, physical status, and date of birth.

  • Contact Information: Phone number (for Mobile OTP verification) and email address.

  • Family & Background Details: Family values, parents' professions, and native place details.

  • Education & Professional Details: Higher degrees, college names, current job titles, company names, and annual income.

  • Cultural & Religious Preferences: Religion, Caste, Sub-caste, Gotra, Rashi, Nakshatra, and Manglik status (Kundli details).

  • Media: Profile photos, lifestyle/family photos, or short video introductions uploaded by you.

B. Device and Automatically Collected Data

  • Device Permissions: We may request access to your device’s internal storage or gallery to save the generated A4 PDF or upload photos.

  • Technical Identifiers: App usage statistics, device model, operating system, and unique device identifiers utilized seamlessly for serving non-intrusive advertisements (via Google AdMob).

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly to fulfill the core utilities of the App:

  • Local Processing (Phase 1 Document Maker): In the basic utility phase, your entered profile data is processed locally on your device to dynamically generate print-ready A4 PDF templates via our canvas engine.

  • Community Discovery (Phase 2 Matchmaking Platform): If you explicitly "opt-in" to publish your profile to the matching gallery, your information is used to compute compatibility scores and allow other users to discover you via granular search criteria (Age, Caste, Education, Location).

  • Security & Verification: To prevent spam, duplicate profiles, or fraud through "Trust Scores" and automated selfie/phone verification checks.

  • Monetization: To deliver premium features and serve relevant contextual/native ads.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Offline-First Security: Your active drafts and unsaved bio-data profiles are saved securely inside your device's local database (Room storage).

  • Cloud Hosting: Cloud-published matching data is securely stored using encrypted cloud services (Firebase Firestore).

  • Privacy Guardrails & Protection: To safeguard user identity against malicious scraping, the App actively deploys an anti-screenshot layer on match feeds to secure visible profile data and photos from third-party distribution.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal data. Your details are shared only under these conditions:

  • User-Controlled Sharing: Your biodata is exported as a PDF to be shared strictly at your own discretion via external channels like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Email.

  • Public vs. Locked Profiles: If you select our "Private Link Mode," your profile is deliberately hidden from the public matching gallery and accessible only to individuals holding your unique password-protected link.

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We work with Google Firebase (for backend authentication and hosting) and Google AdMob (for utility ads). These providers only access data as permitted by their own compliant privacy policies.

5. Your Choices and Data Control

You retain total control over your shared information:

  • Opt-In/Opt-Out: You are never forced to submit data to the matching gallery to use the PDF builder. You can delete or withdraw your profile from public matching streams at any time.

  • Field Flexibility: You have the choice to leave dynamic cultural or optional fields empty, and they will safely be hidden from the final layout.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services are strictly directed to individuals seeking legal matrimonial pairings and are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates (such as shifting from Phase 1 to Phase 2). We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy page.
